Just in case you haven't figured it out, Otis is a satire of ranting Calvinists of the John Owen variety. His inane logic and theology are not to be believed, and quite frankly, if you were starting to agree with him, you seriously need help. I write this because despite the fact that he is clearly a cartoon character spouting over-the-top rhetoric for an insane belief system, some netizens cannot recognize even the simplest of contexts (Triablogue, for instance), and will take such writing seriously. To counter such silliness I've drawn up the following rule: If you do for some reason quote Otis and claim that this is what I am teaching, I will come to your house and beat you within an inch of your life while twirling a leek and singing the Ievan Polka.
